In celebration of becoming the newest member of the Location Based Marketing Association, Get Me Listed is joining the LBMA to host Monetizing Location Based Marketing, a forum focused on demystifying location based marketing and exploring its monetization through local channels like Google Places, Yelp, Foursquare, and Twitter.
The event will be held on June 7 in the conference facilities at Le Monde de Cossette (2100 Rue Drummond, MTL H3G 1X1). Speakers at the forum will demonstrate the best practices and case studies for the optimized performance, measurement, and monetization of marketing campaigns.
This will be an excellent opportunity for venue based marketers, brand managers, local search optimization experts, and novices alike to be educated on location based marketing, which is currently at the forefront of the digital marketing landscape,” said Michael Mire, CEO and Co-Founder of Get Me Listed.
Joining Michael Mire as a keynote speaker will be Asif R. Khan, Founder and President of the LBMA, who will be sharing invaluable insights from over 25 combined years of marketing success.
We are excited to be in Montreal. We have a growing member base here, and its important to provide opportunities to connect in a physical setting, said Asif. Montreal is blessed with a wealth of location based startups and development talent, and the LBMA is looking forward to helping build awareness and foster collaboration in the fast prevailing location based market.
Other distinguished speakers confirmed include panel moderator Sebastien Provencher, a high profile name in the local marketing community, as well as Mohamed Khalain from Meditative, and Marie Pierre Rochon from Yelp. Those interested in attending Monetizing Location Based Marketing can register online.
In addition to Get Me Listed and LBMA, the event will be sponsored by prominent advertising agencies Mediative, Le monde de Cossette, AOL & Le Huffington Post Qu
