Furthermore, this was the Jackal 1. The Jackal 2 upgrade program kicked in shortly after the time this engagement took place which layered more armour upon it anyway and increased the sweep of the main gun. Bear in mind, this is the Pathfinders. Their job is naturally more dangerous to get closer. If you add windows, you’ve got to add framework. If you add framework, you need support. Suddenly you’ve gained 4 tons and the vehicle can no longer do its job. The lads WANT it like this tosee out.
Did you happen to note the reason why he got shot? The American ammo in the GMG was shit and majorly fucked him over, leaving him unable to suppress a nearby foe. Fault was with the ammo, not the vehicle. Also note he got shot in the leg, it passed through the armoured door plate first. Had he been in anything but a Jackal for that role (WMIK, LSV) then he’d likely have been dead. The Jackal saved his damn life.
If it can’t scout, it’s useless. This isn’t designed by monkeys.

They are under so much fire, I would sacrifice some scouting capabilities for extra protection because currently it requires 1 sniper with any skill to shoot the driver while they are stationary, and then they are sitting ducks.
It would hurt their capability to commit recon. Bullet resistant glass needs to be structurally put in with frameworks. They wouldn’t be able to see out anywhere near as well as they can now. Really, it’s very well protected. Theres only a small amount of any person popping out the top.
And first news? Well it’s been operational in the most intense area of Afghanistan on the front line since 2008 and weve yet to hear a single bad report on it. The troops love it, the Taliban hate it. All’s good
But seriously, bullet resistant glass wouldn´t hurt anyone :d

They are not using US weapons. Those are C8 Carbines. Canadian rifles.
They have plenty if you’ve ever actually ridden in one.
They’ve more protection than you might think with those high sides and armour plates. Definitely more than an LSV or WMIK. It’s always worth remembering, the Jackal is not a heavy MRAP. It’s a light recon vehicle and amongst light recon vehicles it’s by FAR the heaviest armoured of the lot.
That’d be why it’s a universally adored, trusted and effective vehicle that cut casualty rates significantly and has done an amazing job for half a decade now then?
You sit lower in the Jackal than might be obvious in this, it’s a surprisingly encompassing vehicle and if you need to you can always lower the seat height. Trust me, I’d rather be in one of these things than an uparmoured Humvee or a Snatch. Adding windows would only hurt it in its job though. Again, recon vehicle, not armoured assault. :p Think of it as more similar to the Light Strike Vehicles the Americans use/used (unsure if still around) rather than an MRAP.
But he has a point, no bullet resistant windows or anything, you must admit that its weird not to have those.

the use of extra Commas is Simple a Bit like you,
deleting embedded commas, is much easier than restructuring a sentence, if the 500 character limit is exceeded , You can take your period of service multiply it by a factor 6, Then I still will have, more time in HMFs !
Unnecessary as in there’s no need for them, akin to how there is no need for you to be a keyboard warrior or for your appalling use of commas. I feel fairly equipped seeing as I will have the two years of qualifying service that will allow me to enter selection for the pathfinders.
