blame it on the econmy
I’m concerned that a few of you seem to be interpreting this situation as if something wrong happened here. I want to make clear again that this was all good, from the beginning. There’s no problem. Everybody got credit. I posted this link because I was happy about it–to share what I consider an honor and a cool thing.
MIT got in touch with me several days before using this image. They asked if they could use my photo of the Pi piece to mark Pi Day. They said they would credit both Pi and me, and they did. I approved it; I was glad to do it. Although you can’t see it on this screen shot, on the day it was posted, if you clicked on the "today’s image" link in the lower right part of the page, you were taken to a credits page where Pi was credited as a graffiti artist in San Francisco and I was credited as the photographer.
It’s all good!
