Shortly after suddenly remembering an amusing and interesting story, Elizabeth ran into the room to share it with me. Because, you know, the King has to know these things (I’m the King because she’s a princess – that’s just how it works).
She was super-excited about it, and was making me laugh… thought I’d spread the mirth.

Glad to see that joyous face again. I teach school and see over 450 faces every week. I don’t think I have seen a face with as much emotion as this precious one. You will treasure everyone of these shots when she is 21 and heading out on her own.
A living doll! I would’ve loved to have heard that story. You know…you could see this face ALL THE TIME if you buy Elizabeth an Ugly Doll.
I’d retell the story here, but the truth is that the only thing that made it interesting and amusing was being able to sit in front of her while she told it. She gets so tickled, and excited, and she rambles on and on and on… kind of like me.
